What I Do

Managing your illness should not be confusing, overwhelming, or unattainable.

You get home from your doctor appointment. You’re ready to start fresh, make all the necessary changes, and feel better once and for all.

When you don’t know where to start, you put the tasks off until you realize your next doctor’s appointment is coming up, and you still haven’t made changes.

Sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone.

That’s why I take the guesswork out of following through with your doctor’s treatment plan.

Through my own experience with chronic disease, pain, and fatigue, I’ve created a system that keeps my wheels turning smoothly.

I use research-backed tools to help you attain the support needed to improve your health.

I’ve worked with

  • Medical Doctors

  • Naturopathic Doctors

  • Chiropractic Doctors

  • Nutritionists, and

  • Licensed Professional Counselors

I speak their language, just like I speak yours,

keeping the line of communication open, clean and clear.

You’ll learn how to

  • Manage your medication the right way, consistently

  • Get rid of the barriers that are killing your motivation

  • Learn to listen to your body, so you can spot new warning signs

  • Track goals and progress with ease and simplicity

Most importantly, we’ll have fun while doing it.

My Education

Master’s of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC)

CRC is a branch of mental health counseling. As rehabilitation counselors, we help people with disabilities and chronic health conditions find the accommodations they need to improve their quality of life, both personally and professionally.

I am currently a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I will be an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the state of Georgia in Fall 2019.

Bachelor’s of Science in Positive Psychology and Associate’s Degree in Life Coaching

Positive psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on each person’s strength. We believe that everyone has something to bring to the table, even if you can’t see it yet. We are trained to bring those strengths out in you, to show you a happier, more productive way of life.

My training comes from my 6-month internship in Life Coaching, where we learned the skills to help you open up and take control of your life in a way that works for you rather than against you.

I embrace the cornerstones of my profession wholeheartedly, and I individualize my approach to you based on your current lifestyle, the amount of support you have, and your personal wants and needs. I truly believe we can all live a purposeful and meaningful life, and I want to help you live yours.

Through our weekly vdeo calls and check-ins, I help guide you through your own slip-ups, help you get back on track, and support you in a way that keeps you on your feet.

When our sessions end, you can expect to feel more confident in your ability to handle all the messiness that inevitably comes with chronic health conditions.
